The Research Ethics Committee (REC-UOC) is the overarching Committee at the University of Crete for the consideration of ethical issues arising from research that involves human participants and personal data.
Committee Membership
The Committee consists of seven (7) full members and their alternates. They are scientists, with expertise in research, ethics/bioethics and research ethics. They are elected, for a three-year term, by the Research Committee and are appointed by decision of the Rector of the University of Crete.
